How to Get Going for the Day the Right Way
Here are a few tips on how to get your day kicked off:
- Have a Routine
Having a routine will help you stay on track to meet your goals. Want to exercise more? Get up earlier? It will take you a few weeks to make something a regular part of your life but once you do, it will feel effortless.
- Sleep as Much as You Need
Hustle culture would have us staying up til midnight and getting back to the office by 4 am. For some people, this is fine. They can function just fine and sustain this lifestyle. For most of us, however, we need a bit more sleep. It’s important to make sure you don’t wear yourself down and burn yourself out. Sleep when you need to for as long as you need to.
This is something I don’t do personally but a lot of people swear by it. Not to mention, there are a massive amount of apps and resources you can access if you would like to try it out. Meditation can have a calming effect and help you focus as your mind becomes cluttered.
